Complete Care

We want to keep pets healthy, and offer proactive healthcare at excellent value. Sometimes that will just mean a check-up, early advice or short tablet course, sometimes that could be major surgery for a trauma case, but at all stages we'll give you choices and cost information so that you always feel comfortably in control of your pet's care.

The best for your pets

We offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual pet.

From the reception area and waiting room where we have separate cat and dog seating areas and consult rooms where you will be greeted with a smile and friendly face, to our well-equipped "back of house" areas, where we can help with problems large and small, you and your pet are in safe hands.

Prescriptions

When caring for your pet we may need to use medications to manage their condition. Written prescriptions for veterinary medicines (POM-V) are available on request. You can obtain medicines directly from us, or ask for a written prescription and obtain medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy. We can only prescribe POM-Vs for animals under our care, which means we have to have seen, obtained an accurate body weight and clinically examined the animal within a suitable time frame. A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary.

We will keep you informed of the costs of medications on request as per our standards of client communication.

The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every 3-6 months, depending on clinical need at the Veterinary Surgeons discretion. Our repeat consult fee is £38, or is included in our Beaconeers plan.
