Hello, I'm Jenny

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I think that what is being created at Beacon VetCare is amazing. I love the independent community vibe that Beacon Vetcare has and I think that clients will too. Beacon Vetcare seems to really care about their staff and that is really important to me.

Clients' pets receive the highest level of care from a fantastic, knowledgeable team, providing 24hr care. Every pet's best interests are always put first. There's such a huge wealth of knowledge and with our unique mix of medical, surgical and referral work – who wouldn’t want their pets to be registered here?!

- Role in Beacon VetCare: Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), usually found working within the orthopaedic team, helping diagnose and fix all sorts of bone issues from taking x-rays and CT scans, to monitoring anaesthetics in theatre, to nursing patients post operatively, Jenny is on the case!

- Early life: Jenny grew up in the Hayle area of West Cornwall and volunteered for the Cinnamon Trust and did work experience at local vet practices, which lead her into her career as a vet nurse

- Education: Jenny attended Duchy College to complete her Degree course in Veterinary Nursing, alongside practical training on the job working at a practice in St Ives. She particularly enjoyed the theatre work, and learning the names of the many surgical instruments

- Pets: 2 beautiful Fox Red Labradors names Tui and Kiwi also a very laid back cat call Connie

- Hobbies: Jenny is on a local netball team, and also plays tennis and enjoys clay shooting when she has time. However, a large amount of her time is spent looking after her 2 twin boys, which keeps her very busy!
