I think that what is being created at Beacon VetCare is amazing. I love the independent community vibe that Beacon Vetcare has and I think that clients will too. Beacon Vetcare seems to really care about their staff and that is really important to me.
Clients' pets receive the highest level of care from a fantastic, knowledgeable team, providing 24hr care. Every pet's best interests are always put first. There's such a huge wealth of knowledge and with our unique mix of medical, surgical and referral work – who wouldn’t want their pets to be registered here?!
Role within Beacon Vetcare: I am a Head Nurse alongside Rachel and am a newly appointed Practice Director
- Clinical interests: I enjoy most areas of Nursing but my heart lies with orthopedic and emergency surgery along with inpatient care .
- Veterinary icks: There isn't much I wouldn't turn my hand to but dog's drool turns my stomach , spiders also make my skin crawl
- Hobbies: Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, the theatre, costal walks and adventures with my fiancé Steve, step son Isaac and Cockerpoo Indie
- Favourite music: I love all genres of music from country and Western to rock, pop, jazz and I am partial to a good old sea shanty from the Fisherman's friends
- Favourite TV Series: My go to has to be Friends
- Favourite film: I have a guilty pleasure for a good old Disney film or rom-com
- Favourite food: I really enjoy a good Roast, especially my mums. (Never to old for mums cooking)
